Today I got to use the color darkroom again. It's been over a year and a half and it felt so good to get back in there. In all honesty, my current workflow is quite efficient and I'm sticking to it (6x7 film + liquid mount scan + digital C-print). It's easy, gives me more control, and much cheaper. However, I like the flexibility of having my film and being able to use the darkroom when needed. It was very exciting waiting for each print to come out, and even more excited to see that I can still make a good print with very little effort, color balancing always came easily to me.
Last Thursday I took my students to the Seattle Art Museum's Olympic Sculpture Park, it was a blast and I took my camera with me. When we got there the farmer's market was setting up and I got some shots of the vendors there. (more to come tomorrow)
